Ayurvedic Health Resort

This second ayurvedic health resort which commenced operation in 2003, was developed by the owners of Barberyn Reef is located in the southern tip of Sri Lanka, beyond Barberyn Reef, in the coastal town of Weligama, approximately 140 km from Colombo.

The continued success of Barberyn Ayurvedic Health Resorts and the demand for more accommodation prompted the owners to consider the development of a new property, rather than disturb the unique ambience of Barberyn Reef. They have thus pooled together the wealth of knowledge, experience and resources acquired over the years in providing Ayurveda health treatment and operation of ayurvedic health resorts to execute this project.

You walk into the entrance pavilion, and you are greeted with the perfume of frangipani, and the traditional "Ayubowan - May you have a long life" - and you are taking the first steps in discovering that "simplicity has its own sophisticated magic".
