Right next to new Waves, in a verdant valley overlooking the Indian Ocean, the Barberyn family in 2003 created Barberyn Beach Ayurveda Resort, their second Ayurveda resort. Now, they have combined 55 years of experience in fine hospitality together with 40 years of Ayurveda practice to create the perfect healing experience: Barberyn Waves Ayurveda Resort.

40 spacious & beautiful rooms await you at Waves. Soft muted colours, exquisite fabric, beautiful artwork & hand curated furniture provide you with a first glimpse of the overall elegance you can see and feel throughout Waves.
Each room has a unique identity – a different view, a different size or shape. Even rooms in the same category may differ from each other. All rooms have either a king size bed or twin beds, a settee or a day bed, and an attached bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet. Whatever room you opt for, expect total relaxation in your own cozy sitting area or on your private balcony so you can immerse yourself in the unspoiled tranquility of the coastal setting.
Following the principles of Ayurveda, rooms are not air-conditioned. Instead, they rely on natural ventilation & standing fans.

The buildings of Barberyn Waves Ayurveda Resort are connected through ramps which are meditative paths. These ramps also provide wheelchair access to the entire resort.
Authentic Ayurveda requires that you must “disconnect” from the world to find and heal yourself. Therefore, to maximize therapeutic success, there are no TV sets in the rooms. The conference room is equipped with a TV to view news or video.
Wi-Fi is available in the rooms & public spaces. Guests are however advised to use the mobile phones and internet only if required & to refrain from being on the internet late into the night.
The vast gardens surrounding the resort are rich in Ayurvedic medicinal plants and, over time, will become hot spots of bio – diversity where flora & fauna will co-exist in harmony with human beings.

Activities
Life at Barberyn centers around Ayurveda treatment. Guests spend about 3 hours a day at the Ayurveda Medical Center for treatments.
Yoga is complimentary to Ayurveda. Guests are encouraged to join the Yoga sessions which are held 3 times a day.
