Barberyn Beach Ayurveda Resort marked the 20th year of its annual blood donation program, a tradition that began in 2005 and is held each year on the last full moon Poya day , at the nearby Nagavihara Temple,Weligama. This year’s program took place on 4th December 2025.
Every year, over 100 donors, including staff members and local villagers, come together to support the healthcare system through this meaningful initiative.
Rooted in Barberyns’ Vision of Human Development, the program reflects the values of its philosophy that goes beyond economic, social, and environmental responsibility to include the sanctity of life and inner peace. It stands as a reflection of compassion, social responsibility, and care for the wider community.
